Cutie Girl

These pictures you are about to feast your soul upon, to exponentially brighten your day, are of no specific theme or category. They are simply randomly timed photos of our daughter, during Fall 2020 to Summer 2021. I have been scrolling through all different months and years lately and have come across so many cute ones of Emma that make my finger stop sliding across the screen. In a loud whisper I exclaim, "Oh. My. GOSH!!!!" and immediately text Michael the photo so he can also relive the same wonderful 1/24 of a second memory.

   Enjoy.

.. Alright, so real quick update.. I wrote ^^ that part ^^ a few days ago before actually looking through all the pictures and I think I oversold it. They are cute pictures, I mean, come on, it's Emma! But they aren't "punch yourself in the face because you can't handle all the explosive emotions" cute. They're more like, "heh, silly" or "aw, that's a good one".

Okay, now you may enjoy. :)

Swinging is one of Emma's favorites! Michael already has plans to
put a tree in our backyard shortly after we move into our new house.
Emma was definitely a fan of riding with the window down!!
This is probably on the blog somewhere else, but just in case it isn't..
check out that Genu Recurvatum skill!!!
Sweet Glowworm cuddles.
Balancing on her "knee backs".
Playing with her awesome busy board that my dad made.
Meredith says it's an occupational therapist's dream!!
Cross ashes that we made for Ash Wednesday (Lent)!
"I'm gonna soak up the sun,
Gonna tell everyone to lighten up."

Baby sled Christmas photoshoot!

Always a good time with G-Dubs! (Glowworm)
At the Winter Garden Pizza Company when GiGi was visiting, mid December 2020
^^ Rapunzel, Rapunzel, without a care
But you always cry when we brush your hair.
I caught her doing some really good stretches a few times this day. ^^
New shed = immediate Munchkinland photoshoot, of course!
Click here to see >> one I did with Sasha back in 2013.

And two of Sasha Renee because she's a cutie girl too.

Tonight we went out to dinner for the first time in several months. It was really nice, although Emma seemed bored and kinda crabby, even though we brought two musical toys for her. She didn't like sitting still, but definitely liked when we were walking around the mall, and looking at all the windows really high up. Later, when we were at home, Michael and I were sitting in our chairs, just watching Emma play at her favorite Music Jammer learning table. We sat quietly and admired our daughter as she flapped her arms and pressed buttons so the next song would play. She continued laughing for unknown reasons. She even did one of those really big laughs were you lean forward a lot. She's such a happy girl.. unless she's bored at a restaurant, haha! I joked that we should have brought her music table to the restaurant and asked to sit in the back. Then she would have been fine if we were there for hours!

Michael has been cooking a lot of fish lately, mostly fresh tilapia, sometimes salmon (from the seafood department at Publix), with a side of rice. It is really good and he adds garlic in the pan, then tops it off with a garnish of a lemon slice. I said, "You have been making such great tilapia lately, but man, we made her, and she is a ten. So your tilapia is like a one point five." Michael laughed. "Not even," he replied. Tonight we snuggled in bed and looked at sconces for the living room in our new house. Of the hundreds of options, we only liked two. I hope he picks my favorite. It's cheaper too! ;)

I was telling him today that I am just sooo excited about our life and that we have so much fun stuff going on/ coming up. Apparently he isn't in the loop and couldn't think of anything (even though he suggested a few fun things the other day) until I rattled off a big list: Weekend trip with my parents, Sasha's 15th birthday and letting her lead on walks, favorite food truck coming back, Meredith visiting for another day, going back to one of my favorite restaurants before we move, finally moving into the house in about two months, everything with decorating/organizing there, taking Emma to a pumpkin patch (that was the thing he talked about the other day), Emma starting kindergarten- gahhh!! such a big girl, Michael's birthday, going to the Halloween event at the zoo, "trach-or-treating" in our new neighborhood, possibly dressed as Star Wars characters this year! Fingers crossed so tight to hopefully be attending a very special art show with Michael's mom, where they have "famous" cinnamon rolls -so excited! Taking our Christmas card photos and writing our yearly review letter- we always do that at the beginning of November. Thanksgiving- hopefully with some family at our house, a Christmas event at the zoo, other Christmas related fun stuff, actual Christmas, and all. that. jazz!!!
