Zoo and Aquarium

In the post from Saturday night you can see photos from Emma's first trip to the zoo which were taken on the Canon camera. All of the ones in this post are from my phone. This will be more of a picture post since I already explained some things about our zoo day on Saturday in the Canon post.
We didn't feed the giraffes this trip, but hopefully we can do that next time! ;)
^^ Can you see the leopard?
A couple weeks ago I wrote on Instagram (@mrsgorefx) how marriage has been tough for us lately, especially this year. But the zoo was a really nice family day for all of us! Real, happy smiles! :)
Emma loved getting the big girl treatment and finally got to start using the stroller without the bucket. This new way comes with a much better view. You can see her leaning forward in a bunch of the pics.
Emma says, "That was such a successful adventure!"

When I have a lot of updating to do, the blog gets all out of order. I have not yet posted any pictures from celebrating Michael's birthday in October, but these SeaLife Aquarium pictures below were taken on Saturday, October 19th. That's what Michael wanted his "fun event" for his birthday to be. Also if you notice I planned her outfits accordingly ~ world animals for the zoo & an ocean shirt for the aquarium! I liked how most of the tanks had Halloween items in the sand since it was in October.
Interesting how no matter what she is doing, she always finds the lights to look at. The picture of the fake tree below with all the thin lights is what she was looking at in ^^ that photo.
This is the second time we have taken Emma to this aquarium. This first time was last summer when we got to go for free with the Potentials Foundation through the Little People of America convention. She has not yet been to any other aquariums, but maybe one day we will take her to the free, small aquarium that my mom takes my nieces to (inside the pet section of Wal-Mart), haha! :)
